The National Measurement Institute will be conducting 2 day workshops in Sydney and Melbourne, and 3 evening information sessions in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth aimed at increasing awareness of allergen detection issues and to discuss associated technical measurement issues.

These workshops and sessions are aimed at government, industry and private sector laboratories, and SMEs.

EVENING WORKSHOPS PROGRAM

What is Food Allergy and why should I care, and how can I be sure I have it under control?

These are some of the questions that will be answered in the Information Session. With a focus on trade development, we will review the information available from Clinician / Regulator / Lawyer / Industry representative - Consider the cost to the market if you get it wrong.

How do I manage food allergens in my facility - what tools are available.
This session will draw from the resources of the Australian Food & Grocery Council guide, VITAL, Risk Assessment processes, HACCP for Allergen, Allergen Bureau information
